The Turner House can provide accommodation for up to 8 guests. We have 2 double and 3 comfortable twin bedrooms, all with mountain views, two with balcony and 2 overlooking the fjord. Decorated in traditional Scandinavian style with personal details such as the well stocked library that guests are free to use. Relax in the evenings by an open log fire watching the sun set though the window of the Guests Lounge or take a deckchair onto the veranda to enjoy an iced tea in the warm summer evenings. Our nautical themed Dining Room is fit for a ships Captain – Captain Raymond- in fact. We serve good wholesome food home cooking and guests sit together for meals, family style. Vegetarians and various diets can be catered for. All meals are included in the course price. Breakfast is served 08.30 – 09.30 Lunch varies depending on whether we are painting en plein air or in studio. Dinner is served at 19.00

Activities

* During the summer we will be offering afternoon cream teas in the grounds of the Turner House.

* Tours of the local museum and weaving centre given by a local historian can be arranged.

* An evening of poetry by the famous Jacob Sande read by a local professor.

* Hiking, mountaineering, fishing are all on the doorstep.

* An evening sail can be arranged.

* Bicycles are available for hire.
